Linen Apron
Description
Linen Apron
Crafted as a beautiful and practical tool for daily life, our Linen Apron is designed to be a durable companion for years to come. It is made from 100% linen fabric using robust No. 8 yarn, chosen for its exceptional strength and presence.
Designed with garden and farm work in mind, the apron features sturdy pockets tailored to hold pruning shears, small trowels, seeds, or work gloves. The shortened length ensures ease of movement, while the wrap-around waist design is perfect for cradling harvested fruits and vegetables. In the kitchen, the waist ties can conveniently hold towels, and the robust pockets easily support heavier items like kitchen shears, enhancing your creative efficiency.
The fabric is sourced from Obaraya Textile, a Japanese mill dedicated to the entire process of weaving, dyeing, and finishing natural materials. Using "semi-wet spinning"—a traditional spinning method with a deep history—the inherent richness of the heavy-gauge No. 8 yarn is brought to its fullest potential. A unique tumbler finish is applied to add natural wrinkles and a softened texture to the heavy-weight material.
This is a resilient apron, thoughtfully created to be cherished and used for a lifetime.
-
Note: Due to the nature of heavy-gauge yarn, natural slubs and knots may be visible in the fabric. Please embrace these as part of its organic character.
-
Entirely Made in Japan: From spinning and weaving to dyeing, finishing, cutting, and sewing.
-
Care: As this is a natural material, slight color fading may occur during washing. To prevent color transfer, we recommend washing separately.
