A meticulously crafted room dress, featuring organic cotton fabric woven into a delicate herringbone pattern at a domestic mill in Japan.
In the depth of kuro (black), the dress reveals a beautiful silhouette and generous volume, embracing the natural, soft wrinkles that are unique to high-quality organic cotton. The Calm Dress was envisioned to transform your everyday moments at home into a period of serenity, elegance, and refined comfort.
To create this piece, we used a luxurious four meters of fabric—nearly double the amount of a standard dress. The garment is constructed from 12 separate panels, meticulously joined to create a silhouette that flows softly toward the hem, offering a dignified yet gentle presence.
The herringbone weave is exceptionally smooth and comforting against the skin. With every movement, the swaying silhouette allows you to feel the gentle flow of air and the graceful pull of gravity. Our hope is that you wear this "design for the soul"—created to soothe, ground, and bring kindness to the heart—with a sense of absolute freedom.
